Changing your global password or global key.

The global key or password in Emerald is critical for securing, backing up, and restoring your crypto.

Follow these instruction if you need to change it.

Change password.

  1. Open Emerald.

  2. Go to the main menu at the top right.

  3. Select "Settings".

  4. In the next screen, go to the sub-menu on the left.

  5. Select "GLOBAL KEY".

  6. Enter your old password to confirm it's you.

  7. Then, enter the new password in the field provided.

  8. Then, re-enter your new password again to confirm it.

  9. Press "CHANGE".

  10. You global password has been changed!
